1-Wire Temperature Sensor

The Temperature Sensor connects to the Dallas input of the tracking unit and enables temperature-monitoring in Fleet Management applications. The Sensor is installed in the area that requires temperature monitoring, and sends Temperature information to the tracking unit's 1-Wire(Dallas) input as a function of the temperature level. The tracking unit sends the received value to the control server on every location update message. The server-side software translates the information to a visual indication of temperature level, alerting the user of breached thresholds and any other application layer activities.
